Grammy award-winning diva Adele made headlines when she confirmed via Twitter that she’d be doing the theme song for the next Bond film, Skyfall. It is now being reported that the British songstress’ admiration for the franchise has grown so much that she plans to visit Bond author Ian Fleming’s famous Goldeneye property in Oracabessa, Jamaica. Often described as paradise, Oracabessa is a small town in St. Mary and is renowned for its luxury residences, such as famous English playwright Sir Noёl Peirce Coward’s Firefly Estate and the first female U.S. Ambassador Ruth Bryan Owen’s Golden Clouds villa, which actually sits directly in between Fleming and Coward’s lofty country spots. Fleming’s Goldeneye estate is best remembered as the place where this English author would travel to once a year just to script his newest 007 entry. A source told the The Sun that Adele “came across Ian Fleming’s house when she was researching the spy series and now has her heart set on going there.” Adele’s Skyfall theme song is co-written by her Rolling in the Deep’ collaborator Paul Epworth and has already been released on Adele’s website. ~Brandon Bastaldo
